What we sign.

These three show the range we sign: reduced minimal house, a groove that lands right away, and a dark pull with Italo heritage. If your track belongs next to these, send it.

What we’re after

BUDENMUSIK-DNA.

16 bars. That’s how long we need to hear if you get the Bude. Us, that is two people, not an inbox.

Tech House and Techno with a life of their own. Tracks that sit in the floor instead of pleasing.

No genre mix-ups, no vocal house pop, no EDM. Three tracks max as a private link, WAV preferred, MP3 320 is fine. If it is premaster stage, say so. No mass mails to thirty labels, we spot that at once.

  • Tech House

Groove-driven, melodic or raw, with a clear bassline. Detroit, Berlin or London school, as long as it is honest.

  • Techno

Driving, hypnotic, from deep to raw. Melodic techno with depth, tracks with pressure for the floor, as long as it is not generic.

  • What doesn’t fit

Vocal pop, EDM, hardstyle, trance. And not “you could call it Tech House” either. Send it elsewhere, it saves us both time.

Before you send

Briefly clarified.

What happens to my track if it does not fit?

It stays with us and gets deleted. We never play a rejected demo, we never pass one on, and we never send it around for anyone to hear. Submitting hands over no rights, the track stays yours. Rights get sorted only when we talk about an actual release, in writing.

Who listens to my demo?

Tony Diaz and Les Is More, the two who run the label. No intern, no algorithm, no open inbox. On borderline calls we bring in one artist from the roster, nobody else.

Does the Bude take demos and do you really listen to every one?

Yes, all the time. We listen to every track that fits the Bude: Tech House, Techno, raw and deep house, minimal, melodic techno. By hand, not by bot, you don’t need to know anyone and you don’t pay anything. If the opening does not land, we do not listen to the end, because a track on the floor has to sit in the first seconds. That is not a judgment about you, only about this one track.

How do I send a demo to a label?

Pick the label that actually plays your sound and send your demo there on purpose, not in a mass mail to thirty. With the Bude it runs through the form above: one to three unreleased Tech House or Techno tracks as a private link, plus two lines about you. The rest, mastered or raw and when you hear back, is covered in the questions below.

How do you submit and what goes with it?

Through the form above. Send us a private track link (SoundCloud, WeTransfer or Dropbox) or upload a file directly, MP3 or WAV, up to 25 MB. Three tracks max, we want your strongest, not the whole catalog. Plus two lines about you: who you are, what you do, your profile link. The music decides, the context only helps us place it.

Does the track have to be unreleased and exclusive?

Yes. Send us unreleased material that is not already sitting at ten other labels. A mass mail to half the scene we spot at once, and it is unfair to both sides. One label, one submission, a little patience, then it runs clean.

Does the track have to be mastered already?

No, that is not a must. A rough mix or a premaster is enough, we hear the idea, the groove and the atmosphere, not the final polish. Just tell us in the status field where the track is. If it fits, we sort out the finishing touches together.

When do I hear from you?

You hear from us within a week, whether it fits or not. There is an honest answer either way, a no too. You don’t need follow-up mails, we get back to you ourselves. If it fits, a concrete next step comes straight away.

What fits the Bude, what doesn’t?

In: Tech House, Techno, raw and deep house, minimal, melodic techno, Detroit sound. Tracks with a life of their own, bass that stays, atmosphere that holds longer than the night. Out: vocal pop, EDM, hardstyle, trance, and anything you could only just about call Tech House. Better send that elsewhere, it saves us both time.
