J-Kuhn from St. Margrethen stands for the art of leaving out. Minimal house: stripped, driving grooves, deep basslines, fine micro-sampled textures.
His tracks live on what is missing. No element too many, every detail on purpose, a sound that works on the dancefloor and keeps running in your head.
His debut is called Você (BUDE 007): six minutes in which the bass drops out exactly twice, a few seconds at 2:30 and at 4:00. Then came Midnight Drive (BUDE 009) and the Tony Diaz remix of Você (BUDE 011).
